I graduated from North Dundas District High School in 2001. After finishing high school, I discovered my love for animals while working as a groomer at various places, including Petsmart, Kemptville Dog Grooming (which I ran myself), and a short stint as a groomer at Cranberry Hill Animal Hospital. During my time as a groomer at the clinic, I also worked part-time as a receptionist. I quickly fell in love with the job, the atmosphere, the clients, the staff, and, of course, the animals. Eventually, I decided to transition into a full-time receptionist role at the clinic and left grooming behind.

I have a soft spot for boxers and am the proud owner of my own super sweet girl, Kona. More recently, I completed online courses, became a full-fledged Veterinary Assistant, and continued my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
